Statement of Reasons

Concerning the making of preliminary determinations with respect to the dumping and subsidizing of

CERTAIN THERMOELECTRIC COOLERS AND WARMERS ORIGINATING IN OR EXPORTED FROM THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

Decision

On August 13, 2008, pursuant to subsection 38(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, the President of the Canada Border Services Agency made preliminary determinations of dumping and subsidizing respecting thermoelectric containers that provide cooling and/or warming with the use of a passive heat sink and a thermoelectric module, excluding liquid dispensers, originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China.
