Ottawa, February 19, 2004
On February 19, 2004, the President of the Canada Border Services Agency made a preliminary determination of dumping, pursuant to subsection 38(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, respecting wood venetian blinds and slats originating in or exported from Mexico and the People's Republic of China. As of today, provisional duty of 120 per cent will be imposed on the subject goods imported into Canada.
