Decision Respecting Certain Xanthates

Decision

On August 28, 2002, pursuant to paragraph 39(1)(a) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Commissioner of Customs and Revenue extended to 135 days, the time period for rendering the preliminary decision respecting the alleged injurious dumping into Canada of xanthates of all grades in dry or liquid forms, excluding cellulose xanthates, originating in or exported from the People's Republic of China. Consequently, the preliminary decision by the Commissioner of Customs and Revenue will be made on or before November 4, 2002.
