Highway Sufferance Warehouse Closure (Cranbrook, BC)

1. The purpose of this notice is to advise that, effective September 4, 2009, Mohawk Terminals Ltd., located at 246 Slater Road, Cranbrook, BC will be surrendering their highway sufferance warehouse licence. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has decided not to advertise for a new highway sufferance warehouse at this port.

2. Therefore, as of September 5, 2009, all bonded highway carriers transporting in-bond commercial freight destined for clearance at the Cranbrook port should report to an alternate highway sufferance warehouse.
