You can now receive updated Border Wait Times on Twitter

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has launched a pilot project to broadcast estimated wait times for crossing the Canada-United States land border.

Thanks to helpful feedback provided by our followers, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has now created Twitter accounts for each Port of Entry, which makes it more efficient for users to receive updates.

Please note that while the border wait time information is checked every fifteen minutes, the CBSA only tweets users when there is a change in the wait time.

If you choose to follow the CBSA_BWT account, you will receive updates to all border wait times across Canada.

Following & Re-tweeting
As this is a pilot project, we will not respond to requests to follow organizations or individuals, nor will we re-tweet content from other users.

Availability
This is an automated service that tweets when updates are made to individual border wait times. Twitter may occasionally be unavailable and we accept no responsibility for lack of service owing to Twitter downtime.

@Replies and Direct Messages
We welcome feedback and ideas from all of our followers, and we will endeavour to join the conversation where possible. We will also read all @replies to ensure that any emerging themes and helpful suggestions are forwarded to the relevant people in the Agency.
